Omega Netball Club members are expected to adhere to the codes of conduct as set out by England Netball Association.  Each member and volunteer will be expected to read, sign and adhere to the code of conduct, relevant to their role in the Club.  All of these forms can be downloaded from the Safeguarding section of the England Netball Association website at:-

Omega NC is strongly committed to encouraging our members to take part, but the health, well-being and safety of each individual is always our paramount concern, as defined in our Health and Safety Policy.

Each Club Member has a duty to:-

1. Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by what you do or not do.
2. Co-operate with the club on health and safety issues.
3. Correctly use all equipment provided by the Club.
4. Not interfere with or misses anything provided for your health, safety or welfare.

All Club personnel who are involved with the Junior members, are DBS checked as required by this policy.  Our Safeguarding Representative has also attended the ‘Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport’ and ‘Time to Listen’ courses and is fully aware of the reporting procedures recommended for handling Safeguarding concerns.

All safeguarding correspondence for our Club should be emailed to central mailbox off ‘Safeguarding@omeganetballclub.co.uk’.  Anything that is sent to this mailbox will be reviewed and addressed in line with the policy, by our Safeguarding Representative, Leigh Rees-Reynolds.
